Our Sisters

A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life.
-- Isadora James

Here's an introduction to the wonderful women we're lucky enough
to call our friends and online sisters.

Pammy, of Pixels Plus

Our sister, Pammy, is one of the most talented people we know.
She's an amazing artist, as a lot of you have already seen
for yourselves, and draws the best dolls you can find online.

We've been lucky enough to get to know the woman
behind that talent, though, and we've found her to be
a most humble, lovely, caring person who will do
anything she can to make a friend happy.

Thank you, Pammy, for being the wonderful sister you are!

Ally, of Dragon Doodles

Ally is the sweetest person...always happy and cheerful,
despite the difficulties she's faced in her life. She has a
wicked sense of humour, and a very giving heart.

Ally is also very knowledgeable about computers, very well read,
loves dragons, and is just a joy to talk with. Thanks, Ally, for making
our lives brighter with your wit and your charm.

Cally, of Dragon Doodles

Not only is Cally an active mom of 6...yes, 6...kids, she's
also Ally's partner at Dragon Doodles.
If everything was done
to Cally's preference, most of the dolls you see online
would be in the form of mermaids...hence the tag above.
Cally is, to put it plainly, a mermaid freak!

She's also a lively, fun person to talk with; always running around
after one child or another, while trying to keep up a conversation.
Cally is also the type who's willing to help out with whatever she can,
and we're lucky to call her our sister. Thanks, Cally, for all you are!

Rutan...the Ole Coloring Lady

I don't think that Rutan needs an introduction to most of you...
she's so well known around the 'net for her absolutely superb tubes.

We've been sisters with Rutan for a long time, and
she's just as sweet and friendly as I'm sure you've all found her to be.
Unfortunately, we haven't heard from her in a while, and we miss her.
Hope all is well with you, sis!

Julie, of Another Creative Design

Julie was my very first online sister..., and a delight to get to know.
She and I (Pat) were both born and raised in England, hence the
'English Rose' in the tag, although she resembles that more than I do! LOL

We used to pixel together, until Julie discovered digital scrapping
Now she runs a site from which she offers really great scrapbooking sets.
She's also making greeting cards, and doing great work with those, too.

I wish we chatted more often, but I guess that's life. Miss you, sis!

Swannie, of Garden of Pixels

Although Swannie and I don't get to chat often, since she's down east
in French Canada, and our time zones are usually 2 hours apart,
I consider it a treat when we do.

Swannie has such a lovely, serene personality when we chat.
She doesn't seem to let anything get to her, and that tends
to calm me down, too, when I'm stressing about something.
Swannie never has a bad word to say about anyone, which is
an unusual quality these days, and one that I admire.

Thanks, Swannie, for being my sister!

Helena, of Sparkling Dream

Helena and I (Lilbug) met at a pixeling forum,
and became online sisters after a while there.
She is one of the sweetest, kindest, most caring people I know,
and I'm honoured to call her my sister.

Although Helena has her share of problems, healthwise,
she hates to burden her friends with them, choosing instead
to smile through the tough times. She's a great source of
support and encouragement, and I love that about her.

Thanks, Helena, for being my sister!
